Hey There Plastic

so there was this girl..
always looking up to people
small and nimble.
but nobody saw her smile,
cause they never looked down
so one day..
little Jane went on for a change.
Believing she shall stand tall and proud,
never a need to look up upon others...
never to look down on herself.
as she stepped out of the hospital bed
standing up tall and ready.
she let out a beautiful smile for all to see,
what a beauty she is.

then one by-passing patient said:
"hey there plastic girl!
Now you're all ready for the beauty pageant!"

her smile disappeared.
amazed by what little thoughtless words it took to rob her of her smiles
now, she just a little normal child...
nothing special without her beautiful smile...
